Dallas Mavericks Parade Takes Place June 16

The entire city is ecstatic about the new NBA Champions, the Dallas Mavericks. Today, Dallas city officials announced the celebratory parade will take place on June 16, beginning at 10 a.m. at City Hall.

As it stands, the parade route begins at City Hall and heads west along Young Street. The parade will continue north at Houston and trek through West End, before making a left a Continental and then north on Victory Avenue—ending at the American Airlines Center.

Along with the entire team, spectators can expect to see Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, head coach Rich Carlisle, along with support staff and other members associated with the team.

Thursday, weather is expected to reach 100 degrees and Dallas Police are expecting approximately 10,000 fans to pack Victory Park at the conclusion of the parade. Be sure to dress accordingly and bring ample water with you.
