  In conjunction with the club's move to Pizza Hut Park in 2005, the Dallas Burn have changed their name to FC Dallas and is a charter member of the Major League Soccer League.

  The Oak Lawn Soccer Club (OLSC) of Dallas is a nonprofit, predominantly gay & lesbian organization formed to provide its members a gay-friendly atmosphere in which to play and enjoy the game of soccer. The OLSC field teams in local mainstream leagues and play in local, regional, and international tournaments, both gay and mainstream.

Various teams within NTWSA compete to qualify for NAGAAA's Gay Softball World Series.

  Team Dallas Aquatics is a swim team consisting of gay men and women, and friends of our community. Team Dallas Aquatics is composed of members of varying degrees of ability, from beginner to competition level. Some of us swim only for recreation, and some of us swim for competition. We are members of US Masters Swimming, IGLA (International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics) and a participant in the Gay Games.

  The Oak Lawn Tennis Association (OLTA) is the first tennis organization supporting and promoting gay and lesbian tennis activities in the Dallas Metroplex. During its 20 year history, OLTA has played host to the first gay tennis tournament in the country held since 1980 and now known as the Texas Open. In 1981, OLTA inaugurated the Texas Cup with the Houston Tennis Club (HTC), an annual competition between the two cities.
